Government Shutdown (CRR)

The question that got all Americans wondering is "Why did the federal government shutdown". There are  many citizens concern about how this will affect them personally. Initially everyone is told that the congress can not come to an agreement on the spending budget. The House of Senate(Democratic) and Representatives(Republicans) held a meeting Monday September 30,2013 to discussion about  the Obama-care. The house of Rep. explained the importance of eliminating the Obama-Care (Health Care Program) will dramatically help the country in a leap out of debt. Also they implied that there is simply not enough money to fund the Affordable Health Care Act. Now as The House of Senate believe that the House of Rep. actions are completely absurd. How we Americans are affected by this, shortly we will see cuts in common  everyday needs that the congress find non-essential. For example the regular postal service (USPS) hours of work may be cut short, along with social security checks may have delays. Putting some elders on a tight budget to support themselves . Today in class we watched a comment from President Barack Obama of his opinion of the congress actions. Clearly he stated that eliminating Obama-care will effect millions. Obama explain that all Americans do not have the money to seek health treatment that is required, and this act is allowing anyone with an medical issue to be assisted with medical bills they can not afford.  The President also tells the people of current stories about some citizens have benefited from the affordable health act. Basically only time can determine how much more this federal government shutdown will eventually hit home.

  1. This is a very topical question. With the government continuing to mess around with default, it seems like the government has gone from bad to worse!
