Justice In The U.S. (CRR)
Socratic seminars are a great way for individuals to express their feeling on a particular topic that broaden the spectrum of someone view point. After the verdicts of Michale Brown and Eric Garden, in my government class have been focus socartic seminars that stem from racial issues that are prevalent within the society. Specifically in Ms.Tomlin class she will occasionally interject to present her outlook on a specific issue, which I admire a lot. Her opinions along with my other classmates really have me question my view point or provide a bigger vision of the reasoning of a grand jury verdict. I love Ms.Tomlin reasoning because she throughly support her postion, which I see as a guide. I learned a few skills of how to properly state a postion but back it up with evidence, that will be beneficial once I get to college. Racism have always played a major rule the U.S. justice system. The Eric Gradner case have many African Americans furious along with other races. President Barack Obama support this invention of cops wearing camaras while they are on duty. Unfortunately many people are oppose of this idea, due to the idea that Eric Gardner case was shot with a video camara yet no charges where made against the officer. The grad jury decision not to edict the officer in the Gardner case left many believing that if the case lacked evidence but it clearly video taped, what's the point of canard. However as time progresses so does change so in the future the camars can bring about justice or countine to separate American Americas future apart from agreeing to the U.S. justice system.
