English 12

Some seniors would agree Shakespeare is one author that can cause you to hate English class. However I find that a creative lesson plan would ease the struggle of understanding the meaning and language. Having WT to come in and help out, is so amazing. I love having the warm up activity in the beginning. For some reason when WT read with passion it is a little easier to depict what Shakespeare is trying to convey to the readers. Also while having WT come to the class I get more excited because I am thrilled to say "oh I actually know what this mean". On another topic I can't wait til the performance. I really hope I get to perform on stage, I would like to be Helena, but now I am considering Hermia. At the beginning of reading this play I hated Hermia, because she was so desperate. Yet I come to realize that you can't help who you fall in love with. I believe that Hermia is possibly this beautiful girl who do not recognize her beauty an struggle with simple flaws. Also I like the idea of acting dramatic that's why I really want her part. I wonder if we will have props on stage so I can get the full experience of acting in a play.
