The Shakespeare play A Midnight Summers Dream have brought gender issues facing men and women to my attention. Writing my outline for my essay I found alarming statistics about the entertainment industry currently. Within the top 500 movies produce the men to women character ratio is 4:1. Although we live in a society where your pretty much free to express yourself. This new gate have open many doors for women to take on the role as actress in the big screens.
Today I had a discussion with my friends at school about gender qualities. Jaylene have brought up a great idea that we actually don't known what gender is. As young children we was just told what to expect from a man and what to expect from a women. However she pointed out an interesting idea that men can posses the same qualities as women and that is the same for women. Personally I never questioned the concept of gender.
